Online College Rankings 2008
These 2008 rankings of online colleges and universities
were produced by the Online Education
Database (OEDb), which is comprised of accredited education
programs online. While not all programs are included in the
online college rankings, the most significant programs which
operate nationally are. The rankings are based on the overall
average of eight select metrics for each program. These metrics
include acceptance rate, financial aid, graduation rate, peer
Web citations, retention rate, scholarly citations, student-faculty
ration and the number of years each program has been accredited.
