The American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy
mandates that new pharmacists must hold PhD degrees and there
are currently around one hundred colleges and universities
with accredited pharmacy shools.
Pharmacy technicians do not require doctoral
degrees and training programs can be found at hospitals, pharmacy
technician schools, vocational schools, technical schools
and even community colleges. There is even a Pharmacy Technician
School program in the military. Some pharmacies also offer
training programs on the job and work with Pharmacy Technician
Schools to provide real world experiences for pharmacy technician
students.
To learn more about Pharmacy Technician Schools
and Programs fill out the form to the right and select "Medicine,
Nursing, Health" in the Program of Interest field and
